Insurance Information

We accept the following insurance plans:

  • Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Matthew Thornton

  • Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
  • Health Plans, Inc.
  • Maine Community Health Partners
  • Tufts Health Plan
  • United Health Care
  • Minuteman Insurance
  • Medicare  (We do NOT accept Medicaid)

You are responsible for payments for which your insurance company denies payment. Cash, checks and flexible spending accounts and visa or master card credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Better Gut Better Health has a 48-hour cancellation policy. This allows us time to schedule those folks on our cancellation list. Clients who cancel their nutrition counseling appointment in less than 48 hours are billed for the full cost of the session. Insurance does not cover this fee. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to meet the needs of our clients.
