Virtual Nutrition Counseling
Options for meeting with us:
Our initial consult is 75 minutes long and follow-up appointments are one hour long except in our programs that are tailored to your needs. Our first session will include a complete medical nutrition therapy assessment, including a discussion to identify your needs.
We conduct all sessions using a HIPAA compliant video, which are eligible for telehealth insurance coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance company for confirmation of coverage of telehealth virtual video sessions.

Book Your Visit
As the client, you are responsible for payments for which your insurance company denies payment. We encourage you to call your insurance company to verify coverage prior to your appointment time. When you schedule your first appointment, you’ll receive a checklist of questions to guide you through obtaining your benefits information. Should you want that checklist prior to booking, please contact us and we’d be happy to provide you with it.
Self Pay or Health Savings Accounts
We offer a 10-percent discount on the pre-purchase of 3 or more visits for our clients who are self-pay. Cash, checks and flexible spending accounts and most credit cards are accepted for copayments or for self-pay options.

Better Gut Better Health has a 48-hour cancellation policy. This allows us time to schedule those individuals on our waiting list. Clients who cancel their nutrition counseling appointment in less than 48 hours are required to pay a $100 fee. Insurance does not cover this fee. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to meet the needs of our clients.
